Pierce the Veil’s drummer, Mike Fuentes, has been faced with allegations from two women with sexual misconduct. including sexual activities with a minor. The band has reviewed the accusations.  Fuentes has offered to step away from the band.

Fuentes said he didn’t take the allegation lightly and even confessed that he had never intentionally abused or manipulated anyone and has empathy for anyone who has faced with such abuse or mistreatment in their lives.

Fuentes did not want the allegation surrounding him to interrupt with the band’s work and to negatively impact the band’s reputation. So he as decided to step away in hopes that it will let the band continue on their work and for fans to enjoy the music. With the action the band has postponed their tour to find a replacement.

Exciting news from the growing band, Ghost B.C.  They’re releasing a live album. It will be the band’s first live album.

We don’t have an exact day, but they will release the album sometime in January, 2018. The band even said that they hope to have a new album by April. I and many fans are excited to see the bands first live album and I hope it’ll be worth watching and buying.

Malcom Young, the legendary guitarist and co-founder of AC/DC, died on the 18th. Malcom was suffering from dementia and passed away peacefully with his family by his bedside.

He inspired many in his works as a songwriter, guitarist, performer, producer and a visionary.

Less than one month ago George Young, brother of Malcom and Angus, passed away at the age of 70. He was the producer of the band’s early albums like TNT, Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, and Let There Be Rock.   He later produced Blow Up Your Video and  Stiff Upper Lip.

In the passing year the rock and metal community has lost countless musicians.

Chris Cornell, the singer and rhythm guitarist of Soundgarden and Audioslave, took his own life on May 18, at the age of 52.

The Linkin Park singer, Chester Bennington, died taking his life on July 20, at the age of 41. He was the father of six.

There are many more losses and I extend my condolences to all of them and their friends and families.

The singer for the famous rap/rock band, Faith No More, Chuck Mosley has passed away. He died on the 9th of November and he died at age 57.

His cause of death was “disease of addiction”, basically due to drugs or probably alcohol. The singer will be dearly missed by fans, friends, bandmates, and especially family.

This week the infamous singer for Black Sabbath and his own band, Ozzy Osbourne or as some others refer him to the The Prince of Darkness, has announced this past Monday, the 6th, his final and last world tour. The world tour will begin in 2018 and last until 2020.

People have asked over the years when will he retire and he responded with, “This will be my final world tour, but I can’t say I won’t do some shows here and there.” As he said, he may be done with his tours around the world, but he isn’t done making the world sing along with him.

Last week, on Friday, a new live album from the famous metal band, Slipknot, just came out. Their last live album, Sic(nesses), came out in 2009, so this was an exciting month to finally listen to them live again and on film. The album’s name is Day of the Gusano which is the translation for Spanish of Day of the Maggot. The concert was held in Mexico city, one of the bands dream places of holding a concert.

The metal band, Arch Enemy, released a new album this month.

Their newest album, Will to Power, came put September 8th.

I haven’t had the chance to listen to it myself yet.
